New pets! ...Kinda. :P
Look what arrived through my letterbox this weekend! These two were made by the supremely talented snowdrop_diva (her ArtFire shop is here, her website here). :) They are really for indoor plant pots, but I don't have any of those yet so for now they're hanging out on the patio. My granny lives in Spain, opposite some salt flats where a flock of flamingos live, and seeing these birds always reminds me of my childhood and happy days spent in the sun - so I just had to have a miniature version! I adore them. Oh, and they come in different colours too, for those who aren't as fond of hot pink as I am. :P
I wanted to get Bulmerhoe to pose with them, but he was in a very grouchy mood and refused to do so unless I had my hand there to stop him. Then he started digging himself into the dirt and I had a devil of a time to dig him back out. Frogs! Bah!
