(no subject)
this week has been... great and then awful.
monday i rode back to bham with mel for her doctors appt, and we went around and i got to meet some of her friends, and then her family, and then we went by and visited my family... it was pretty fun, especially the drive here and back.. got back to au, decided that we wanted to go out for halloween, so this guy i met in annie's apartment complex mark called and wanted us to come hang out with them, then we also decided to go to a cheerleading party with kevin and spock (chris).. so we went to chill at marks with him and his friends, hes really cool, but hes a senior and i do NOT want to date anyone thats gonna leave. then we called kevin and them but they said that it was kinda boring over there, so we decided to go back to my apartment and chill and watch scary movies.. this is at about 12 and we have to row at 4 in the morning, so we also called jenkins to come over so all of us had to get up but spock so we decided just to stay up all night and/or crash at my apartment watching movies. spock, at about 2 in the morning, decided that he wanted to stunt (cheerleading) so me and him went outside to do that, in my front "yard" (2 feet of grass) and kevin and jenkins just stood around to make sure i didnt fall? but they didnt help much.. but it was so fun! then we finally all fell asleep and had to get up 30 minutes later and go row.
ok so idiot amy, a coxswain, puts her keys in her cox bag in the boat.. and the boat flips.. so her keys are now down at the bottom of the lake. and me and 2 other girls have all of our stuff in her car. it takes her until 8 o clock last night to get her car open, i have no idea how in God's name she managed to make it take that long... but so i was soaking wet and had class all day, it was freezing outside, and when i finally got a dry pair of jeans, it starts monsooning. so im wet, miserable, and without a phone or an apartment key or my inhaler or any of my books.. horrible. then we get to practice and amy still hasnt shown up or called anyone, and finally around 7 we got so fed up me bethany and kelly decide to go ourselves and call AAA, or break a window.. we called some of the varsity that had been at the lake and they said her car was still there.. we get there, in the dark in the middle of nowhere, and her car is gone. we were irate. get back, and she has called one of our other team members to tell her she'l meet us at the colliseum. it was all we coudl do not to hit her. i grabbed my keys and walked away.
then it got better, i went over to megans to watch her cook dinner for me, her, jr, and kevin for our weekly meal (my turn next week!!) we had chicken and steak fajitas and sat around and talked and watched tv and ate.. it was so fun!!! i love my crew kids!! most of them that is.
today, ate lunch with the lovely megan, chilled and ran errands with her for a bit, then brianna and i got the bright idea to get our boat to go out this afternoon since one girl, mei-ling, has never rowed with us.. so we go out and it gets cold and dark, but all in all it wasnt a bad practice. then went to eat, then back to mels, then fell asleep over there and she had to go to work.. so im back and about to go to bed! crew in the morning, and we're leavin friday morning for a regatta, so i need to get some sleep. later
