my sister had her baby on thursday morning at 12:52 am, a girl, 6 pounds 11 ounces. her name is lauren marie. it is amazing how much you can love someone so fast. as soon as i saw her my heart jumped, she is the most beautiful baby i have ever seen. she looks just like erin, same mouth and ears.
yesterday, when her and her boyfriend signed the papers giving her up for adoption was the hardest thing i have ever been through. watching my sister knwoing how miserable she must be broke my heart. i am so proud of her for being so storng, i know that baby lauren went to a good home, heidi and greg [the adoptive parents] are wonderful people. and so is my sister, she blessed these people with the most perfect baby girl, one that they could not have had otherwise. i think this whole experience changed my whole family, and brought us all closer together. i never tell my family i love them enough, i need to start doing that more often. especially erin, she is my hero.
