(no subject)
So I went to Nikkis this weekend and it was a lot of fun.
We left on Friday around 330 or so. We got on the road, and didnt stop 'till we got there! It sucked near the end, because around 530 when it was dark, it was raining really hard, so I could barely see the freeway! Thankfully, we got on our exit and got off. Didnt help that it was still monsoon raining though.
But we made it to Grand Valley! Its kind of cofusing over there, because I drove over a sidewalk/bikepath and I didnt even know it! Jen and I laugh about it now because its funny. Good thing there was no one there.
So her roomate was gone for the weekend so we got to have her bed. We met her other suitemates that live next door to her and they're pretty cool. They made spaghetti for dinner and it was really good! ^_^
We saw Laura while we were there too, so that was all good fun!
Saturday we went to the mall that was about 20 minutes from GV. It was HUGE! Kind of like Great Lakes Crossing only better. THEY HAD A SPENCERS!
Oh! And I went to Hot Topic and bought a kick ass Zeppelin hoodie! I love it! ^_^
And I also bought a Jimmy Page action figure at Spencers. I didnt even know they had one of him! OOO! And they had this huge Freddie Mercury action figure too! It was so cooL! It was motion actavated too so it would sing Queen songs. I was like "OMG ITS HEAVEN IN HERE!" But the thing was $40 bucks, so many next time Freddie.
Anyhow, then I bought a magazine from Barnes & Noble. And we ate at Fridays. It was a good ol' time. We were there from 2 to 6! It was ungodly big.
After that, we tried to find our way home with Yahoo!Maps directions, but I ended up passing the road that we were suppose to turn on to get on the freeway, so we saw the freeway signs for Grand Rapids, so we just decided to take that, and we ended up being lost! We got off of a rest stop which was like NOTHING! It was like Texas Chainsaw Massacre or something! SO Nikki called her dad and he directed us back.
We got back, and hung out in Nikkis dorm, taking funny pictures on her laptop. We ended up ordering a pizza and watching Whats Eating Gilbert Grape?
Yeah, thats how we like to party at college. No party and drinking, just eating pizza and watching Gilbert Grape. LOL!
We stayed up till 4am talking about funny shit and her roomate.
We went to sleep and we were woken up 5 times by Laura calling my phone. I felt bad that we didnt get to hang out with her, but she has a lot going on so its hard for her to find some free time I guess.
But we ended up leaving around 2, and headed on home.
We passed downtown Lansing and got off at the next exit to get something to eat. Then I dropped Jen off and I dropped some shit off at my dads and came back to my moms.
And MAN I am so tired today. X_X I woke up an hour later than I should've for school, but I wasnt late.
Math and CT were so boring today.
And when I left my CT this kid passes me by and then he calls out my name twice, (the first time I didnt think he was talking to me) and I turn around and look at him and I am just like 0_0 "Do I know you?"
HIM: "Kevin..."
ME: "OH! Hey hows it goin?"
KEVIN: "Good, how bout you?"
ME: "Fine"
Kevin is my mom's friend's son. I havent seen him for 2 years probably, so of course I would probably forget. But totally I was totally high on not getting enough sleep! X_X
So we talked about our classes and thats about it.
I went over to Jens afterwards today to drop her camera off. She left it in my car.
Then we went to Greek Isle so I could get some lunch. Then we went to Switched On, and they had GNR's Appetite, so I bought that, because I only have a burned copy of it.
Then I told the dude that worked there, how my Oasis CD is kind of scratched on one song, so he told me to bring it back to him. I already had it in my car so I did and the other guy who works there used a cleaning machine to clean it for me. It looks brand new now. I havent listened to it yet, but it wasnt scratched big time or anything, it just skipped a few seconds and then kept going. But Im sure its fine now.
He said that if it still didnt work, then to bring it back in and they could give me a refund or someting like that.
Those guys are so cool over there. LOL.
So I dropped Jen off and I asked her if I could borrow her GOO GONE stuff ( I usually call it "goo off") becase my Van Halen CD case has this crap stuff on the back of it, because I had a CD holder in there that it got stuck to, because the weather was so hot (this is during the summer) so yeah.
It didnt work, so Jen gave me a new CD case to put it in. THANKS JEN!
Ah, and now I am procrastinating on my hw. I have to do a demo speech tomorrow. I already made the stuff so thats out of the way. I just have math and english to do. Ehh...
