Just out of curiosity . . . how many of you have seen a news report about this:
Megan Williams tortured and raped by six people for at least a week
It happened several weeks ago, and the first I heard about it was today, on Facebook (of all places). Is it really not getting media coverage? Or did I just miss it somehow. In any case, it's disgusting and heartbreaking and infuriating and . . . well, just read it, if you hadn't already heard, okay? I do not want to live in a world that allows things like this to happen. Of course, it's just one small example of the myriad horrible things people do to one another in this world. Yeah, I know there are wars going on right now, too. Somehow, it needs to change. I wish I had an answer as to how to do that, but right now, I just feel like crying. Also, I must admit to being a bit curious as to why the media thinks OJ Simpson and Michael Vicks are more newsworthy.
