Five things
1. I am embarassed to say i actually enjoyed Pitch Perfect. and i have a raging girl crush on Anna Kendrick
2. A guy who was positive for influenza sneezed in my face today. whoopee
3. I am incredibly obsessed with Game of Thrones on HBO. Rico and I are currently plowing through the second season
4. Katie will move in with us in the next few weeks. she will be a really fun companion and roomie. Plus she'll help us alot with rent!
5. I miss my violin. (sidebar: i have never been at the lap of luxury but I always felt that i was raised to be comfortable and not frequently left wanting. When i'm older and my kids sass me, instead of telling them a story about how money doesnt grow on trees, I should just tell them the story of the months when their dad and I first started living together and there were times when we were so broke that i had to pawn my violin so we could make the deposit in our apartment. Or when we only had one working car and I had to walk home from work at the Clinic and take the bus part of the way. I know in the grander scheme of things, those little incidents do not equal poverty, however, those things help to ground me. or so i think. i never really went into medicine because of the money - maybe for job security, a little bit- but I never went into it thinking i'd be rich. I keep telling myself that we are just starting out and its okay to need a little help sometimes)

6. I miss college. and my college friends. i feel like i really would do it over again in a heart beat. maybe erase a few mistakes.
7. I voted. via absentee ballot
8. Lily's dumb ass ate a whole chicken leg the other day. again. bitch.
9. i like emergency medicine for the hours, but i dislike it in principle.
10. Im going to Tallahassee on Sunday night for FM recruitment. yay.
