Vigilante
I had a few issues with this episode. It wasn't bad - not at all, really. I've seen much, much worse. But I can't believe how glibly they’re playing Oliver having a date with the reporter. I mean, come on! Not even a single reaction shot from Felicity?! No awkward silence when it's brought up by the team? They just make innuendos and jokes. WTF! I hate when a show tries to downplay it's own history. Or completely ignores it. They were engaged just last season. Give me something to work with here, writers! I'm still not enjoying most of the newbies. Least said about them the better, I suppose. I did like the flashback to Russia this episode, however, and the moments between Thea and Lance. Very sweet.

Shade
I like the addition of Wally to Team Flash, and I think HR's working well, too - as is my lovely Draco Malfoy, although he didn't have much to do this episode (note to writers: please don't make him a baddie!!). Barry's Flashpoint shenanigans are still causing trouble for the team, thanks to Wally's Kid Flash visions, but is Caitlin a product of Flashpoint, or would she have always gained her Killer Frost powers? I think I, like many others, believe that it's possible that Vibe is the one on the wrong side of that future vision - it's future-knowledge 101, right? You always misinterpret what's being shown. The villain this week was total weak-sauce, so much so they didn't even bother giving him a reason for being the Shade. This issue was a lot of set up, but not much payoff, so I guess I'll have to see what becomes of it all in weeks to come.

Changing
Awww, what a sweet episode for sisterly love! I love how Alex's whole coming out was played - maybe the first interaction with Kara was a bit off the mark, but they more than made up with it in subsequent scenes. I felt so deeply for Alex. You could feel her confusion and pain, especially in that last scene. I like that Mon-El stood up to be a hero and I hope the team can get him back without him being brainwashed or something. I'm really getting miffed with James - I was SO PROUD of Winn standing up to him like he did. James was being a total pushy dick. This whole 'need to be a hero' storyline feels a little shoe-horned in for me, but I'm willing to see how it goes. The Winn/James team up could go some interesting places, so despite me side-eyeing Jimmy like mad I'm happy to hang-fire on judging it too harshly.

Celebrating the Life of Asa Fox
I loved this, give me more of hunters whispering the name Winchester in awe! It makes so much sense that other hunters would tell stories about the fabled Winchesters - think of everything they've done in the past 10 years. If even some of it is known, they look like alpha-hunters! I adored the first scene with the boys at Jodie's house. Sam looked so relaxed and at home all sprawled back in his seat! And Dean's child-like glee in killing Hitler was still funny. The hunter wake was fab, I loved the witch twins in particular and Mary's appearance. See, Arrow - this is how you keep emotional connection from one episode (and season) to the next. Bravo, show. I can totally see both sides of the Mary argument, though my heart sides with Dean. He's such a lost little boy where his mum is concerned, this must be eating him up. All in all this was a really good episode I'm really looking forward to visiting again.

Outlaw Country
Another fun episode from Legends. Caity Lotz is never not amazing as Sarah - she's such a good Captain! I'm liking Ray more and more, and hopefully he can now get his suit back up and running. I'm guessing Martin's brain farts are to do with having a daughter introduced to the timeline, cause there's no way he's not still totally in love with Clarissa. It was cool seeing the wild west again and I liked how it was filmed. Sepia camera lens, perhaps? A bit convenient to find all that rare alloy just sitting around, but I'll hand-wave it if Ray can get his suit back asap!
