An                                                     artist's                                                          passion

Within                                                                   its                         framework

Structure                                            and                                           texture

Figurative,                                                                                  pictureque

Dry ,                axonometric,                             and                            hardgedge

Surrealistic                                                                        storyline

A                             Country's                 Landscape.

The art trip was interesting as it did give the images of landscapes of Alex Miller's 'Jorney to the Stone Country' a sense of reality. I found the artwork 'My Garden' by Fred Williams very interesting. The orchre and red pigments of the painting truly stoodout, but I thought the red wasn't just a typical red, too me it was a distinctive Australian orchre and red .
The other painting that intrigued me was Fredrick McCubbin's 'On the Wallaby Track'. The picture is of a woman with her [huge] baby taken sheltar under the shade of the bush while the man puts the 'billy' on the fire for a cuppa. This also is done under the shade of the bush too. In the background of the painting one can see their tent pitched in a small clearing of land that seems to look like its man-made.
I certainly did agree with the comments the group and M.G made on the representation of colours, especially the shades of green of the habitat.
