Complicated Words of Prose and Verse

May 27, 2008 09:21

Long tongue-twisted words of ambiguity

Difficult to understand

Ambiguous words-those double expressions.

Without any shame

'The Oxford Dictionary' acknowledges their meanings;

Simplistic and plain.

Words that speak of sight, smell, taste, touch

Structured words with candour and rhythm

Those stanzas of figurative language

Evoked imagery erected strong and firm

Like Adonis-tragedy or comedy?

Prose of love, lust, and deceit

A trope of blossomed metaphors that pollinates

One’s mind of another’s life experiences with all its antidotes

From the hand of a parched tongue, an eye for beauty

And with an open mind

Immortality stained on paper...

“It’s cruel to be kind.”
