It's fairly large, but worth it.

Under the bridge. )

i like this shot, but there was just something a little naggy about it to me. then i read the comments over in photographie and what the first guy said struck me as the truth about the frame. there's just too many lines going in too many ways for such a simple stark image. i mean it's supposed to convey peace, simplicity and etc (at least in my mind) but the feeling can't quite be achieved because of the lines going all ways.

of course that also leaves room to say that this was your intent. you could have been trying to make a statement about how the world, even when simple and at peace really is very complex just under the surface. i guess it would succeed at that. but then in taking a subject that typically is used for a peaceful setting you may be masking that message. or making it more subtly.

look, i've managed to confuse myself.

I took it to show that beauty can be found anywhere, even under a bridge. As always though, it is the "eye of the beholder".

To me the strongest lines go one way, except for the posts at the front and the bridge supports that are like rebels with their differences setting them apart.

But mostly my pics don't have an underlying theme. Maybe they should.

It's on the Moira river. A bridge on Hwy 37.
