Is this your first time polyjuicing? If not, how has this time differed from previous experiences? yes it was my first (and i hope last) time
How has this changed your perceptions of what it means to be your gender? it really hasn’t
Did you learn anything about your own gender, physically? Sexually? well, that some people seem to be a lot more, er, sexually free and that it is very odd and alarming to be confused for one of them.
How will this change your perception of what it is to be your gender? it doesn't?
Did your age change? If so, did you become younger, or older? A lot? What have you learned from this? no, he is my same year
Did your body type change? If so, how? Did you become thinner? More robust? Taller? Shorter? Larger breasts? Smaller breasts? Fitter? Uglier? In better shape? Worse? Different hair? What have you learned about tolerance from this? I was taller and more wirey. quite bendy, in fact. i don’t think he was any fitter or in better shape than me, exactly, but certain people seem to find him very attractive, or at least they like to grab at his bum.
What about yourself have you decided to change because of this? I want to try to improve my flexibility, because his body was much less clumsy than my own.
If you are a pureblood who turned into a non-pureblood, or vice versa, what have you learned about the "purity of blood"? we are both pureblood, though that doesn’t mean anything to me, really. i guess we both are expected to uphold family honor in our own ways?
What about yourself have you learned to appreciate more? i suppose i really just appreciate my own body as a whole more, knowing myself and being comfortable in my own skin.
What about the person you turned into have you learned to appreciate more? i don’t know if this really answers the question, but he seems to have quite a high metabolism, and can eat absolutely anything. he also has a nice laugh.
Will you be more understanding of the person you turned into in the future? Will you try to be better friends with them? i don’t think i was ever actively avoiding a friendship with him, but i will try to interact with him more if i get the chance. i will try to be more understanding by remembering that everyone has their own issues that make life hard for them, and that everyone has wonderful qualities.
If you changed into someone from a different house, did you learn anything about their house? What about your attitudes towards the various houses? well, i learned that the Slytherins seem to have a very, er, close relationship with one another.
How did you feel about being changed when it happened? Were you embarassed? yes, it was embarrassing to suddenly morph into another person in the middle of a ball, but i was very thankful to still be the same sex and relatively the same size, avoiding some of the clothing mishaps of other people.
How do you feel about having been changed now? i am glad to be back in my own body again.
What was the best thing about being changed? getting to experience what life is like for another person for a little while
What was the worst thing about being changed? that it happened without my consent, and trying not to hold it so i wouldn’t have to use the loo with another bloke’s body.
What was your favorite moment while changed? i really couldn’t say….
What was your least favorite moment while changed? people trying to grab my arse and snog me because they thought i was him
How did it feel to see someone else in your body? How did it feel when you found out who was in your body? it was very shocking and upsetting. i was glad that it was someone i am somewhat friends with. oh bugger, i just realized that a GIRL was in my body… she saw me… oh BUGGER.
Did anything the person in your body do cause you distress? What? they said my wardrobe needs upgrading, but it is perfectly fine!
Do you think anything you did while changed may have caused distress to the person whose body you occupied? unless running away from his potential suitors causes relationship problems for him, i highly doubt it.
Was there anything you wish you had not done while changed because it was hurtful? If so, what? no?
Did anyone else's changes affect you? Which ones and why? it was very confusing to see all my friends turning into different people, in particular my date turning into a girl who rather scares me.
Is there anything else important you learned from this experience? What? I have learnt that polyjuice is not fun, and that it is never wise to drink any strange liquid handed to you by the potions master!
