well congratulations to everyone for all the great things that have been going on lately. it seems so odd, as though we were students just yesterday, and now everyone is grown up and doing adult things like finding love and discovering their true self and buying houses and saving the world ( Read more... )

I find it very strange that Ginny and Colin bought an entire house, I mean couldn't they have started small with a flat?
Hows the reading coming along darling? I picked up some more helpful manuals at flourish and blotts by the way.

It was cheaper than some of the better flats available and we can do a lot with it since it's so big and has a lot of property. Anyway, I've always lived in a house, except this one's a Muggle house. Why would I want a flat?

oh it's not strange at all, they had the money to do it, so they found a house that suits their needs. it is probably about time for us to do the same, i suppose, since we are married and all. i do hope they will let us come visit some time.

the reading is coming along nicely, i really appreciate this! thing are going to be great, Pav, just brilliant, i promise.

I'm not sure if I want a falling apart mansion with corpses in it though! I've always wanted one of those really pretty victorian townhouses you get in London.
We could always use magic to expand the garden so Dharma has room.

I'm glad that the reading is coming along well! I cant wait to see the results of your research.

well of course we wouldn't live in a haunted old mansion, i think they didn't realise it had corpses until after they had purchased it.
a townhouse sounds lovely, we will have to start a home search after the reception. that is a wonderful idea for Dharma, we will have to charm the garden anyway so the neighbors will think we only have a dog or something more boring than a fantastic elephant.

me too. i think most of the fear was just, er, doubting myself, i suppose. and lack of information, of course.

But Dharma could give all the little children free rides! surely pet elephants are legal in the muggle world?

Um.

And we never actually saw the place before we bought it, so yeah, we had no idea why it was so cheap.

So we have this gigantic dead garden because of the poor gardener dying and all, and I know about de-gnoming gardens but not actually planting them and stuff.

I guess what I'm saying is... we could really use advice from someone who knows about this.

Maybe you could come over sometime and make some recommendations?

thanks, i would love to!! i'd be glad to do a lot of the planting and things myself-- if you didn't mind having me around, of course.
i've missed you both, it will be great to see your house.
