This is one of those posts that I talked about the past year, and make some smart-ass comments about resolution for the next one. Reading the post from last year, not much has changed during this time of year between the two.
Same ole stuff:
- Dinners with friends (3 times with 3 different bunch)
- Go skating (3 times- a new rink has just opened within 5 min bus ride)
- Hit the gym (once)
- Movie (none this year- seriously?)
New stuff this year:
- Shopping the New Year's Sale (I now own a pair of skinny jeans... Don't ask. I can't gain weight EVER again!! I also have my new favorite T-shirt)
- Sightseeing (older part of Bangkok I've never seen before. Bangkok is pretty much empty during the long weekend)
- Feeling that occasional waves of loneliness during the holiday, a symptom commonly associated with falling for someone (at least for me). Can one be too old for such things?
So let's see. My very generic resolution. I'd be please if I can maintain (or increase the intensity) my exercise regime. 5 lbs or 2.5 kg to go before I reach my first goal (now the weight goal is NOT a resolution- the exercise regime is). Be more positive and a better mentor/boss at work. Take more risks in life and love. Hopefully, I don't crack as work/chorus/life/love pick of the pace this year. We'll see.
