Progress for Count Herbula

Jan 04, 2006 20:32

I have been counting for three days and I am getting very punchy! All I want to do is rent Mile High and be a counch potato. Jenny and I will finish up the last of it tomorrow.

Since we were open Saturday and I went to work on inventory Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and today, I haven't had a day off. Hence some of the punchiness. I am determined not to stress out about this, but of course people want to come in despite the closed sign and I hate to turn away a sale after having such a horrid Christmas season. Naturally everyone and God wants to call and ask if I have their favorite supplement in stock. Its been hard to get anything done, but I have managed to plow through much of the weighing by myself.

Fred lent me his stepdaughter Jasmine who is such a sweet girl. She might be only eleven but she me helped get through one of the larger section of inventory, bless her. She said she had fun! With a weirdo like me what else could she do?!! The wonderful spousal unit did the book count and a few bits and pieces with the bigger section.

Got all the pound jars weighed today. Jenny and I will weigh all the extra that is stored under the front counter tomorrow and in the big gallon jars. It sure goes much more quickly when someone else is here to write and I am the one running to where stuff is, counting and shouting out the total. Got to make sure I put the colored strips on the stuff I have weighed before I leave so I know it was weighed and counted. It might be a small place, but there's a lot of little stuff to count!
