Christmas Day
And so this is Christmas? This whole weekend is beginning to become a whirlwind. We went to my daughter Amy's house yesterday to have Christmas with my grandaughter, then from there to my mom's house to have Christmas with her and my sisters. Got home around 9:30 or so, totally exhausted! Teri had to wrap a few presents before we went to bed, finally went to bed around 11:15 or so. And of course we are headed to Teri's sisters house to have Christmas with her family in just a few minutes. I should own stock in the oil company!
Next year is going to be different!!! Michael, my son, will be home from the Air Force with his family. I think we are going to have Christmas here with my kids, so that will be one less trip I have to make. I can't wait! I now have 3 Grandchildren and next year will be the very first time I will see one of them, the second time I get to see the other, and for Kayla...I get to spoil her all year long!! Yes, next year we are going all out for Christmas..lights, tree, the whole stroke! Going to be a fun year. Not saying that this Christmas is a bad one, but I miss my oldest son so much, and I long for the day I can hold my grandsons, and getting to know them is going to be awesome.
