...Has anyone heard of 'the Malice'? Not the emotion, but...an actual force. I think it might have something to do with this place...

The faces were all completely blurred, just like I thought.

Figured as much. How many down there and at what stages of the developing process? Anything half way done, resting in the fixer or anything?

Ten photographs in all, all fully developed. They don't look like they've been tampered with... It has to be caused by whatever is wrong with this place...

The Malice?

A power that came from hell... It has the power to kill people, and turn their souls hostile.

Sounds like what's going on here, although I don't know if it's exactly the same. Does the Malice do this sort of thing? Twisting lives from the outside?

Well... In the place that the Malice affected... People who lived in that place, or went to visit--it was almost always the spirits that caused their deaths, rather than the Malice itself.

But neither the spirits or the Malice ever brought people back to life like here...

I'm going to guess it's similar but not the same. But, just in case, is there a way to kill the Malice?

I don't know if it can be killed, but there is a way to repel it... The Holy Mirror. However, it's in pieces, and unless all of the pieces are assembled... It just doesn't work.

And you're missing some of the pieces? Or it's shattered into too many tiny pieces to put together by hand?
