Been a while
Since I updated here. Facebook sucks me in. Fighting a bit of insomnia.
Andia is down here finally, which is awesome. She also got a couple of cool flexible jobs after studying her test and doing A LOT of job applications.
We both finally went to the DMV to get Cali licenses... first time in my life not having a Washington license.
Hard to believe I've been here since January. Still no publications... lame. Hoping to change that soon. A second author one coming (it was my idea, without it the work wouldn't have been done, and its pretty darn cool, although I didn't do any of the physical work I am helping write it), and hopefully some more co-author ones later and a first author sometime in the next six months. Still tons of work to get there. Then I gotta go to some conferences, network some more, and start applying for positions. Crazy life gets more crazy.
Now to try to get some sleep again. I wish I had Andia's amazing ability to be able to fall asleep easily. Never been easy for me.
