Locked to Allies.

One of the small willows has decided to take root near the east courtyard, and needed to be coaxed back a few hundred yards or so. Although I felt a little churlish to disturb it, after its wonderful performance, I think it would be kinder to everyone to keep it out of the way ( Read more... )

Pomon Professor Sprout, Susan has been asked to take charge of things at the Kew end by the authorities here.

We have decided that the best method, especially for the more violent playful specimens, is to use the floo network to the Hog's Head in Hogsmeade. I suppose we should warn goat breath Mr Dumbledore first. They could then be taken by pony and cart to Hogwarts. Perhaps Professor Hagrid will know where to find something suitable?

Mr...oh you mean Aberforth? Of course, I think that's a splendid suggestion. I'll visit the Hog's Head later this evening Merlin knows I could do with a drink and get everything sorted out.

As for the cart, I'll speak to Rubeus if he doesn't see your message on here!

Thank you, both of you.

Pomona

If any of my papers have survived, I have several old maps amongst them that may be of use if the old... unofficial passageways are to be restored. I'm sure Albus already has it well in hand, but it would be a pity to see the school rebuilt without the secrets - and not so very secret 'secrets' - it once held.

And Poppy, if you read this, I am not interfering. I am awaiting Kingsley Shacklebolt to set up the Floo to my room and simply passing the time. I will be at your mercy disposal very shortly.

Yes, Pomona. Albus has me slaving away on the lowest levels that it's safe to go into. It really is a horrible mess down there, but I think with time and enough hands, we'll be able to set things right again.

Well you're doing a sterling job. I know it's going to take a long time, but the place feels better already, don't you think?

Remus, I'm going to the Hog's Head this evening, to speak to Aberforth. If you're not too busy I'd love it if you'd join me.

It does feel better...cleaner. The feeling of oppression that I experienced every time I set foot inside the place while Voldemort held control of it is definitely gone. I think everything will be all right again. It's just going to take a bit of time.

So Aberforth has opened the pub again, huh? Good. I'd be happy to go with you this evening. What time should we meet?

Yes, Aberforth's open for business! Rather comforting, that. The Three Broomsticks is still closed, and most of the shops but I hear on the grapevine (or rather from one of our lovely team doing the rubble clearing) that Zonko's and Honeydukes are planning to reopen by September the first - I expect they're hoping for the students' custom, but even with our best efforts I think they'll have to wait a term or two!

How about eight o'clock?
