Leaves are beginning to fall, the scent of ripe fruit is heavy on the air, and there is plenty of work to be done in the orchards. I'm sure that you'll all lend a hand, if you care for apple and blackberry crumble as much as I do.
It is also time for all fifth and seventh year Herbology students to come and see me to chat about your practical project for this year. Appointments for the coming week may be signed up for on the notice board outside the staff room.
Mr Longbottom, I'd like a word with you, if I may. Tomorrow evening, if that suits you.
