Fandom: Metalocalypse Rating: PG Pairing: Knubbler/Murderface Summary: There was no warning about this. Notes: For sike_saner, who wanted anything with this pairing.
Eeee, this got into his head so deliciously. Such a nice examination of this lovely little situation William's finding coming up around him. :3
And this section!
He wonders why Grandma focused so much time on warning him against ladies that would distract him from his life goals, ladies that would do anything to turn him into a family man, ladies that loved his money but never him, ladies that would say anything to anyone even if they didn't mean it, just to look good. Ladies that were controlling, ladies that were too weak and let themselves get killed and their baby be put in danger, ladies that raised a kid by beating him up (this one was Stella herself, but he'd turned out okay), that were too quick with spoons. Ladies that murdered your spirit by nagging too much. Ladies.
Yay for simultaneous backstory-and-character-fleshing for William and Stella! :D It's like when you plug a vending machine and an extra bag of chips falls out. :3
Although, if things went good, William would certainly take all the credit.
It would certainly explain the way he interacts with women, uncertain and awkward and with the wrong ideas and also a little scared. Hm.
And Stella full of guilt over her son's actions and the daughter-in-law she can never spend time with again who she would have accepted more and more quickly if she'd known what would happen.
I'm glad you enjoyed this. That whole section was a surprise, and really does add to the characters somehow....
