Trying to Figure Out Why Rockso (and Toki/Rockso) Fascinates Me

1. We know he gets hired in gigs as a clown, which is interesting (or...I assume so. Unless Nathan just thought of him because he knew of Zazz Blammymatazz...he knew an awful lot when he recapped the cancelled concerts in Dethzazz).
2. Toki calls him his pal, so he probably has something worthwhile. Of course, Toki also called fish his "underwater friends", and he thought the Mustikrakish would make a good "pal". I feel like they tried to imply it was all because of Toki's fucked up childhood, but I have a hard time buying that because Toki is just as enthusiastic about helping him and seeing him succeed when he's not in his clown makeup. I agree initial trust could have sparked from the clown thing, but they have something deeper than that, just as Pickles and Murderface clearly had a deep friendship off-screen in the first two seasons.
3. I find him oddly attractive. No, I cannot explain this well. Possibly it's the high voice, the intensely....buzzed expression, and the bright colors/normal hair color?
4. I love a good character challenge. I like trying to humanize what has been presented as a character with little dimension.
5. I like unconventional pairings.
6. His dialog is fun to k-k-write, buh-baby.
7. He seems fucking awkward. Sometimes I make characters too self-aware, but he seemed to be self-aware when he spoke for Rikki Kixx. So I think he knows he's fucking awkward, which is so much more interesting than someone who doesn't know.
8. He made Toki a balloon animal. Sure he totally fucked him over by selling his presents, but Toki fucked over his concert, right? Even if it was an accident. Friendship's about not keeping score anyway.
9. I want to see him get clean. I know this is kind of stupid and pointless. But I do. He seemed so happy about it. He looks so cute in his normal clothes, with his conventionally ugly face and his too-tan skin. 
10. Young Rockso reminds me of Toki.
11. I seriously think he is the reason Toki changed from a quiet, depressed individual to a more aggressive, power-hungry one. And that's just fucking interesting.
