~The most amazing weekend~
Friday was mine and Dana's 2 yr anniversary!
He suprised me with a weekend at White Island beach Resort!!!!!!
IT WAS SO FUCKING BEAUTIFUL THERE!
There were bunnies EVERYWHERE.I dont just mean 2 or 3 I mean hundreds!
They would even come right to the cottage on the deck.
Being on the beach front was SO relaxing.
He planned lots of stuff!
I had no clue where we were going till we got there.
He had a bottle of wine and flowers along with a pic of us already waiting in the room!
Right away we had a romantic walk along the beach.
Our cottage had a fireplace in it!
Roomservice delivered our supper which we ate in front of the fire.
My food had a hair in it.
ewwww
We roasted marshmellows in the fire!
Saturday dana had more suprises!
First breakfast in bed! The food there was SOOO good.
Then we both got an hour massage.mmmm best thing EVER
We drove into the town of Liverpool and had lunch at a nice cafe.
There were so many things to do at the resort, if only it was hot and sunny!
We went swimming lots in the pool and the hot tub.
Our cottage had a hot tub in it!
For supper he suprised me with a picnic for 2 along the beach.
We had fireworks!
Sunday we got up at 6 am because check out was 11 and we wanted to enjoy our morning.
We ate breakfast in the resort over looking the beach.
Then for another swim.
We decided it wasnt time to go home hah
We went to Lunenburg for the day.
It was so beautiful there.
Then we went to the ovens.
For those who dont know what the ovens are. They are caves along the ocean.
The caves were formed by the sea eroding the base of the cliffs. The caves were extended by mining activity during a brief gold rush in 1861.
You cant go in all them but its a nice trail to walk along.
It was scarey in the caves cause it was so loud.
Bacisally I had the best time of my life.
It wasnt cheep but it was COMPLETLY WORTH IT.
I wish I was still there.
Halifax sucks.
