on DOS programs
Compared to the nice stuff we have on XP and Vista these days, DOS programs suck big ol' donkey excretory organs. I was fighting with this stupid program for THREE DAYS - it was either crashing completely or giving me gobbledy-gook answers. However, at great length, it was revealed to me what my mistake was:
I was entering "1" instead of "1.0" for one of the inputs. Sigh.
I knew I was in trouble when the first thing everyone I went to for help said was, "Why are you using THAT program?"
