Pet peeve.
I've realized recently a major pet peeve of mine: people who don't read what I'm asking for, then give me the wrong thing.
For example, I emailed someone at work asking for a form to perform task X. They sent me a handful of forms, none of which seems to address task X. I wrote back and asked which of these forms I was supposed to be using, and how... and they said, "Oh, you want to do task X! Oh, you need something else for that." WTF? Didn't you read the first email before sending out all this shit (which I printed out, needlessly wasting paper and ink)??
When I try to call people on this, btw, they call me mean and arrogant (for which I was 'written up' several weeks ago).
