Oi oi oi.
Too many ideas for the frickin fic x.x;;;
I'm just. I'm gonna go back to what I had and just. Ignore this new idea. For now. I mean. I have a whole 'nother prologue written for it, but geez. I'd have to rewrite other parts of the six chapters I've already got written... Plus it screws with game canon a bit much.
I like it though. ;__;
Basically, I wanna have two major classes of 'heroes' -- the Knights and the Mages. Knights would be people, either Light or Dark, who root out imbalances in the...uh, Balance...and get rid of them. Mages are the ones who try to prevent imbalances from occurring in the first place, and Mages are both Light and Dark (i.e. Twilight *hint hint nudge wink*). Mages kinda tip off Knights when Big Shit is about to happen, and Knights generally make sure Evil Dudes don't off Mages. Knights, Light and Dark, don't really understand Mages, and Mages kinda think they're a bit better than Knights, but generally hostilities don't flair up because everyone's working for the Balance and it's All Good.
The Keyblade fits into this as being like, the object of Balance. You know, can either save or doom the universe, both locks and unlocks, etc. The Mages and Knights decide to split it up, divide all that power, and thus we get Sora's forty bajillion collectible keyblades.
Story goes on, blah blah blah, there's some relating to the Secret Ending -- as in, I include the Chasers and Baldsem, and not much else. Yen Sid's a Mage, Mickey's a Knight, there was an epic battle and most of the others were wiped out.
Where was I going with all that? Um. Sora and Kairi were gonna be Knights, Riku and his replica were gonna be Mages (though the replica was gonna fight tooth and nail to stay a Knight), and. I really don't know, beyond that. Hence why I'm not really gonna include it -- it's a big idea, but it'd just become subplot/backstory, and I've got enough subplot ideas as it is.
So basically, this is going into the Rejected Ideas category. *sigh* What a waste of time.
