It sounds just like this outside.
Winter is grotesque and haunting. We've done nothing but snuggle under comforters and play video games for weeks now, save the occasional trip east or north. 8Am class has been out of the question, even though these days have me up till 9 and sleeping till 6. It's just too fucking cold outside, and the wind rips horribly at your face. So we stay in and play massive amounts of Soul Calibur, Sims, FF and Castlevania for the DS.
Highlight of the past couple months was Jeff Tweedy's last show of his solo tour in Charlottesville. I love watching that man onstage. He's got a presence of such... normalcy. Really inspiring. The show's going to be streamed from wilcoworld.net eventually.
I look the most forward to getting a new apartment in May. A place without roommates who are either high maintenance or have a problem with any kind of ganja intake inside (it's TOO FUCKING COLD OUTSIDE). A place to wholey call a home.
After that, it's wherever Andy and I decide to take off to. We've reached another agreement that coincides with our interest in Japanese culture. I'm no longer afraid to make a move that big. It would be awesome to immerse myself in a nation that has a reason to be proud of itself. And the arcades are appartently impeccable.
Almost.
