As much as the joy of being a senior [truly being a real senior as of august 3, 2005] overwhelms me and gets me excited, it's almost become a task. The last step of a twelve [for some of us thirteen including pre-school] year journey through the country's by far worst educational system is coming to a conclusion, and we've got to make the best of it. As fun and exuberating as that may sound, and I'm sure many of us have said the word "senior" in relation to ourselves like a billion times already, now comes on the most responsibility. Scholarships, jobs, college, saying good-bye being a task in its own, keeping some sort of positive numbered GPA [thankfully enough not a problem for me, questionable for others though], and trying to be level headed as we enter, what I've been told will be, the best year of our schooling pasts. But, for right now, I'm concentrating on the summer. I'm not trying too hard to make it the best it can be [like ive heard predestined by others], yet it seems to evident that it's falling into place and creating that aura on it's own. Thank you summer, and august third is a ways away. Seniors, ahh.
