Hello, everyone! I hope you're all doing well.

I had a marvelous idea for a fun game today. Let's make a story together! It'll be very easy... I'll say a sentence, then you come up with a setence to continue the story, and we go back and forth until we're good and done.

I'll start us off... "Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess."

Because they're unique to everyone who plays along, I imagine?

In that case: Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess who had almost everything she could ever want.

She felt there was something missing in her life, but couldn't understand just what it was.

She considered that it might be a pretty ballgown, but she already had closets and closets of those.

She had the prettiest ballgowns, the shiniest jewels, and the biggest castle, but she found what she was missing was something that couldn't be bought.

What she truly wanted, she discovered, was someone to match wits against.

Since there was no one like that in the kingdom, the princess decided to set out and find this someone for herself.

Her parents weren't certain they approved of the idea of their only daughter setting out alone into the world on an adventure of that nature, up until she pointed out that if she had been a son, they would have had no objection whatsoever to the idea--and faced with this undeniable bit of logic, they relented.

The princess packed her things, grabbed her best horse, and set out into the world, hoping to find the one that could match wits with her, and she wouldn't stop until she did.

After an afternoon or so of riding, she came across a spring of clear water, and decided to stop for a drink.

But when she got off the horse, it suddenly began to run off without her!

Which, naturally, posed a certain number of problems for the princess's continued ability to adventure, so she was forced to run after it.

She chased and chased it, and just when she thought she could catch up, a thief came out of the trees and jumped on the horse!

Exasperated from the run, and currently in no mood for one more tribulation to round out her day, the princess proceeded to pull off one of her shoes and throw it at the thief's head with impeccable aim.

The shoe hit him right in the head, and the thief fell off and into a pile of mud.
