Definitely a good thing, and definitely should be government funded. I don't see anything bad about it.
Fetus's aren't aborted JUST so we can use their stem cells. I would rather have the stem cells of aborted fetus's go to research that could potentially save millions of lives than to just be discarded.
Another thing that many people don't realize is that stem cells don't just come from aborted fetus. If someone has a miscarriage, they should have the option of donating stem cells. When somebody gives birth, they should have the option of donating (or keeping) the stem cells from the umbillical chord and placenta.
Honestly, I don't understand why people are against it. They're credulous, at best.
