Write a letter instead of telling her in person. Bring it in with you, leave it where she'll get it when you leave. The letter can be just a formal goodbye:
"Dear (Manager name),
This letter is to officially give you notice that in two weeks' time I will be quitting my job here at the UPS store.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for having me as an employee and to say that I've learned a great deal from the experience. I wish everyone at the store the best of luck in the future.
Sincerely,
Ally"
If you don't feel awkward about the fact that you're going to a different job you can add in that you're leaving because you have another opportunity elsewhere, but it's really not required.
Of course, you have to deal with her the next work day, but at least the initial shock/anger will have worn off.
That is an awesome idea because I was gonna tell you to just talk to her privately about it and let her know. She might get upset but she can't make you stay there or anything. Or I was gonna say talk to her right before you get off work so you can tell her and leave and then by seeing her the next day, she'd have some time to calm down if she got pissed. You have your rights to quit so she can't do or say anything, but the letter sounds so much easier! :)
