Weekend, weekend, weekend, I made you out of fun!
My weekend up north was indeed a good one. First of all, the air was not chunky, but was deliciously full of moisture! Despite the lack of sleep, my skin was incredibly happy.
My hosts had kittens! Cute, cuddly, adorable, rambunctious kittens! I had lot of great quality kitten time. Shh! Don't tell my cats!
I played bocci, and I didn't suck! No, my team didn't make it into the finals. However, I wasn't the reason we lost... We lost because the other team was better, not because I sucked. Hooray!
I had my first ukulele lesson. I've never attempted strings before... I'm gonna hafta cut my nails. *sigh* this is actually a big deal. The only time I ever have a short nail is if one breaks. I dislike the aesthetic, and I hate the feeling of having my fingertips exposed. This is going to be very different. However, if I'm serious about expanding my musical ability... and I am... the nails have got to go.
I toured a chocolate factory! I ate free samples of chocolate! What more is there to say on this one? Oh, yeah... Yum.
Today was Disneyland for Tara's birthday. I was utterly exhausted from my trip, and thus was unfortunately a little dented of spirit. However, it was a joy to see one and all, and to be able to celebrate my beloved sister's birthday.
