As an American, I'm annoyed at the present American hegemony over world culture. And I probably wouldn't be, so much, if we didn't set ourselves up as the arbiters of "morality".
The French don't need it, the Australians sure as hell don't either. Some Brits might like that, but at least they're better off than we are here in that respect.
