Introduction of sorts
Well, I guess it's time to finally begin to fill out this journal. I've had this for a while, but I've just never filled it out. So, today's the day I start to.
I'm Geni, but I sometimes go by the nickname Daisy. I'm 18 and I live in San Angelo, Texas. I graduated from Lake View High School in May and will be attending Angelo State University in the fall. I plan to major in Biology and also plan to take pre-medicine courses, since I want to be a doctor.
I guess you could call me a normal teenage girl, only with some quirkiness. First off, I'm a classic country music freak and love to listen to the likes of Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn, Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Merle Haggard, as well as many others. Don't get me wrong- I like current country music, but to an extent.
I also love classic movies and TV shows. For example, my favorite actress is Audrey Hepburn. I love her the most in "Sabrina", although I adore "Roman Holiday", "Breakfast at Tiffany's", "My Fair Lady", and her other movies. I'm also the kind of girl who likes Burt Reynolds car movies- mostly the "Smokey and the Bandit" ones. My favorite TV show is "The Dukes of Hazzard", although I do love "Grey's Anatomy", "ER", "Golden Girls" and "Designing Women."
Another thing about me is that I love NASCAR. My favorite driver is Jeff Gordon, but I also like Jimmie Johnson, Brian Vickers, Kyle Busch, Dale Earnhardt Jr, and others. On Sundays, you will usually find me in front of the TV, watching the race, cheering for Jeff. :)
