Filling in for Heosphoros . . .

Peristera here. Just updating to let everyone know that Heosphoros had surgery today for a hernia. Some of you may remember a similar surgery in November of last year. Well his body rejected the stitches used to close that hernia, causing an infection and in the end a much larger tear in the abdominal wall. Hopefully today's surgery will fix that.

I left him about an hour ago and he was in a lot of pain but recovering. The doctor feels that the surgery was a success and H. should be home tomorrow morning.
