Finally a good one
I almost forgot to make an entry about this but I finally had a good dream last night. It's the first positive feel-good dream I can remember having in....I couldn't even tell you how long. I've had nothing but nightmares for months if not years now. In the dream, I was back in high school, but not the high school I had gone to. Instead, it was as if I had my current personality and life experiences but was given a chance to relive my life in a different environment. I went to this large high school and was spending my first day wandering around trying to find the right classes and whatnot and it was pretty spiffy. I wasn't nervous or apprehensive and had a confident 'I don't give a crap' attitude. The kids all seemed to respond positively to that and it was actually a very interesting day.
I know this doesn't sound like much of a happy dream, but beggars can't be choosers. I'm sure the lot of you often have great dreams filled with hooker-bots and lottery winnings, but this is the best dream I've had in recent memory. I was actually feeling quite happy in it which is so rare as to be almost unbelievable. I can't help but wonder if my life really would be much better if I were given a chance to re-live it, and this time take more chances and not care as much what other people thought.
Oh well.
