henshin_heroes is a community where you can share scans, music, videos, news, etc. of your favorite tokusatsu actors. Our entries are locked, but our membership is OPEN, so join us any time!
Next are a couple extra rules we didn't put in the profile to keep it less cluttered, but if you intend to post drama/series episodes or music, please make sure to read these too:
★ Rules for posting drama/series episodes
We are following the same setting of jdramas: keep all episodes of the same series in one post. That means, if the series is already over, post all the episodes in one post. If the series is currently airing, post once with what has aired, and update that same post with the next links. Please understand that once you start uploading a series, it is your responsability to keep updating the post with the next episodes, so please don't start a series if you don't intend to upload everything.
In addition, there is no need to announce you have updated the post every week, the people downloading it should check back regularly. We do understand this is a bit of a hassle, but the reason we've chosen to work this way is that, while we don't mind series or dramas with toku actors being posted, dramas are usually avaliable in many different places. Unless a drama is very underapreciated or just rarer to find, it's not hard to get HanaKimi/Mei-chan/Koizora, etc out there. We'd like to avoid becoming just a repository of episode downloads, and encourage other types of posts, with material that is harder to come across.
Merits repeating: lock all media posts.
★ Rules for posting music/albums
You are allowed to post music downloads, as long as the music is directly related to a tokusatsu actor, like character image songs, or singles/albums released by actors who double as musicians (eg. Fujita Ray, Tokuyama Hidenori, Kato Kazuki, Amano Hironari, etc).
Series OSTs should only be posted if accompanying episode posts. Meaning, if you're already uploading a series anyway, feel free to throw in links to the OST along with the episodes, but don't make new posts only for instrumental OSTs. The reasoning behind this rule is the same as for the episodes: OSTs can be found in any general toku/drama comms, and unless the guys are singing the songs, they're not very related to the actors we're here to fangirl. :P
Merits re-repeating: lock all media posts.
Thanks for understanding that we need to draw some lines so this place doesn't become just another ordinary comm and is allowed to be what it's meant to be: a place where nerds who like eyecandy can fangirl/boy the hot dudes acting in geeky super hero shows and help each other find more of their favorite actors. :D/
