Linux can bite my d*ck
I just spent the better part of two days attempting to install a useful copy of Hardy Heron onto two different virtualization programs and an external drive (i have yet to have enough faith in the buggy piece of crap to put it on my internal)
BRICK FUCKING WALLS EVERYWHERE
I was all for trying to get an alternate desktop OS
I mean really who isn't a fan of free info and free choice
but jesus I'm not an idiot and i failed fucking miserably ... o i could get it to boot but i couldn't get it to utilize any of the *actual* hardware on my machine so i was stuck at 800x600 and in some sort of infinite restart loop where everything *should* be ok the next time and wasn't...
sigh
maybe next iteration will actually be useful to me
