why is it that people immediately assume the most expensive piece of equipment is the one that is failing
case in point
my brother in law
smart guy, mostly a PC guy, works as an IT admin
just got a brand spanking new 24" iMac
he was excited when he picked the box up from me yesterday
when he got home
apparently he had trouble connecting to his wireless net
apparently he is ready to send the computer back
cause it has to be the computer
cant be the free dsl modem/router
THAT cant be a lowest common denominator piece of shit, cause... every other computer including his old windows box has had trouble getting connected to it... but no its GOT to be the $2k computer... shit like that makes me hate customer service... the fact that this is my family and that he will get through it and that he should have been smart enough to not have gotten the modem/ in the first place has nothing ot do with it
