I have to say thank you to Merrie for the wonderful gift certificate. I just got back from Aida's and am now the proud owner of a beautiful Vera Bradley tote that is perfect for my knitting...and if I get back to cross stitching, it'll make that transition as well.
I just wanted to move into Aida's! It's such a girly store! All the pretty Brighton jewelry, sunglasses and handbags. And a whole freakin' wall of Vera Bradley to choose from! I think the one I got is called Village Green. It's a big tote with lot's of big pockets on the inside just the right size for a skein of yarn to fit into...and it's washable! I can see why people are so enamoured with these bags. I have a very poor imitation that I bought at Dillon's a couple of years ago and it's made a great sewing tote for me. I'll just keep watching Ebay and wishing for more Aida's gc's for birthdays and the like.
Now if I can just talk Henry and Rhiannon into going to Michael's with me to get a pair of the Clover Knit Lite needles. I would love to have a pair of those to use while we're watching tv. That way I could turn off the Ott Lite and lose the glare on the tv screen that bugs them so much.
I still need to go to Border's and get those books. That MUST be done tonight or they go back on the shelf. I need to get signed up for the Border's Reward program, too. I need to get a lot of stuff done, hunh?
And on the menu for dinner tonight...Souper Salads. Rhiannon wants soup because she doesn't feel good and that sounded really good to me, too. Henry has given it a go, so it looks like we'll be bundling up and off to SS here in just a bit. Then it's hopefully over to Border's on the way home and then curling up on the bed to watch either CSI or Supernatural. It's a toss up on that one.
