Dear Henry Part 2
Henry turned his head at the knock and thought smelled her, but he couldn’t when he just got done reading her letter. There is no way she could be here all ready, plus she knew where he was going but not the actually place where he was moving to.
“Henry, you are going crazy in your old age.” He thought to himself.
Once he made it to his door and opened it, he was the one in for a surprised. For standing at his door was the one and only Vicki. She was there and he couldn’t believe it, she actually followed him. Even before he could get a word out, Vicki did the one thing she wishes she had done a lot sooner. She pulled him into a mind-blowing kiss.
Once they released that is when Henry got a good look at Vicki and saw that she in deed had change her appearance a little. Now she was pregnant. Henry didn’t know what to think, here was the only women he had loved caring some other man’s child.
“Vicki care to come in and talk to me for a little?”
“Sure.”
So they made their way to the couch and sat down. Vicki couldn’t believe that she actually found him and here he was only mere inches away from her again. All she could think about was how to tell him the truth and the event of what cause this current state for her were playing in her mind over and over.
“Henry, you are probalying wondering how I become like this” Vicki said as she took he hands and put them on her growing stomach. “Well you remember the night before you left and how I gave in to all of passion and we made love. Well guess what, in about five months you will be a father.”
“No you can’t be right, I can’t have children. You know that Vicki.”
“I also know that I have not been with any one else and that for some reason as you have put it before, we have beat the odds and now we are going to be a family.”
Henry looked at Vicki deep in her eyes and he knew that she was telling the truth.
All he could do was smile, for some reason unknown to him, and for any reason, Vicki has all ways made his life very crazy but in a good way.
“ I can’t believe this Vicki, Now don’t get me wrong, I’m very happy with this, but I just wonder why it happen.”
“Me too, but these past four months have been strange but yet wonderful. From the moment I found out that I was pregnant, all I wanted was to come to you, but I couldn’t because something happen with Coreen.”
“What happen?”
“She met a guy that is normal for once and she became pregnant also and lost the baby, she was a mess. I had to help her through it. She is ok now and is with the guy. So that freed me up to come to you and this is the only place I want to be is here in your arms. Please Henry say that you will be with me and our baby,”
Vicki was waiting for a response from Henry, but all she got was a kiss that told her all she needed to know. That she was were she was supposed to be.
Five Months Later….
Any day Vicki was to give birth to a little baby boy that was going to be named William Henry Fitzroy. Both parents were so happy with how things have turned out with the whole pregnancy. Vicki had a pretty normal one, with only a few quirks of not being able to stand sunlight for a long time and a few raw pieces of meat once and a while.
“Henry, What are you doing?”
“Working on the next issue, what’s wrong Vicki?”
“I’m tired of being preagant and I want to have this baby now.”
“It will be soon love, you know what the doctor said, any day and we don’t want to rush it. I’m as excited as you are, but we have to wait.”
“Well you are not the one who gets to be kicked 24/7 now do you and plus it’s so hot outside at night and this just sucks.”
“Soon love soon.”
They went back to doing what they each were doing and Vicki was getting more on Henry’s nerves each moment. Till a thought popped into Vicki’s head on a way to speed up the process of getting this baby out of her.
