AAAAAAHHHHHH
My exciting week of the summer started today.
Nick, Kathy and I ventured out to Highland Park, IL today to see Patti LuPone play Mama Rose in Gypsy at the Ravinia festival. We got to Highland Park around 4, did some shopping and went to a grocery store to buy picnic supplies. We got to the park around 5:30. We were planning on just buying the $10 lawn tickets. As we walked up there was a sign that said college students with an I.D. got free lawn tickets. So Nick and I pulled out our IDs and got our free tickets. It turns out we could have upgraded to $100 pavillion tickets for only $10 but we weren't about to leave Kathy on the lawn by herself. Anyway, we ate our picnic on the lawn and then watched the concert. We stood at the edge of the pavillion as we usually do. The show was great and I got some pretty good audio bootlegs.
So the excitement continues tomorrow. My parents are coming up to help me pack and then I close on my new house at 3. I am planning on totally moving in tomorrow.
Then on Thursday I fly out to New York for the weekend.
Ok. Time to go to sleep for the last time in this apartment.
