As for who Peter's real father is... It might be revealed in due time... or not. You're gonna have to wait to find out. :P

Well, something crucial did happen to Peter: he found out that Arthur is not his real father (even though he took it better than what could be expected).

Oh man, I hate Arthur. I really hate him so much. That chapter was heart-breaking and I feel so sorry for Peter. I don't know why, but Peter reaching for the Coca Cola bottle made me sad because I realized how he tries to have an ordinary Thanksgiving with his family and Arthur just ruins everything. Peter's such a cute kid.

“That’s enough,” Nathan said low, his teeth showing as though he would snarl like some wild animal.

I really liked that. Nathan, Peter's great protector. <3

And I liked Nathan's thoughts about flying away with Peter. :D Hehe, just wait 6 years longer and you will be a real superhero. lol

Arthur was looking for a reason to beat down on Peter, so even if he hadn't knocked over the wine glass, Arthur would have found another reason to start spewing out his hatred. It's just the way he is, I'm afraid.

Not necessarily 6 years... This is AU, remember? There's nothing that says Nathan's powers won't manifest sooner. :)

Well, Arthur hates Peter, so he'll do everything in his power to make him miserable. Perhaps driving him toward suicide is Arthur's ultimate goal? Who knows?
