(no subject)
I've felt like a widow all week.
Never have a baby around midterms. It's a bad time to need your husband more than ever... especially since, more than ever, he needs to work on school. I'm just lonely. Really lonely. I can't wait until this week is over.
My shower was last saturday, and it was wonderful! :) Lots of good food!! My sister really went over the top. Everything was perfect. It was great to see some of my family and good friends again.
Monday we toured the hospital. Only 3 more weeks. I want her to come NOW!
Last night was an HDCP meeting... holy smokes, I forgot how "fun" those meetings can be. Sheesh.
I almost have everything ready for baby. My list of things to do is finally getting shorter! All of her clothes are washed, and things are becoming more and more organized. The dr. said she is still head down (yay!) and that she'll weigh about 7 1/2 lbs. Perfect size! :)
My mom thinks the baby will come Nov. 5, my dad Nov. 12. At one point Michael said Oct. 30... but he was half asleep, and I'm sure he was thinking about electrochemistry and not birthing babies :) As for me, I haven't really thought much about it. I just know that ever since i heard the due date, way back on March 16, I thought she would come early.
I think I'm finally ready.
