Oh, What A Fool Am I
My heart is palpitating in my chest
Waiting anxiously as I am for a reply
My mind shall never go to rest
Oh what a fool am I
Declare my love so easily
I know I will not go to sleep
My breath strains out so wheezily
I really feel like I could weep

Her mournful wourble pleads--
For forgiveness from her love
Through the tall, slim trees

In morning she will be dead

Her blood pours from her body
And with her voice wavering, she falls--Dead

A young blonde girl of thirteen
Grows up to be a woman
I in anchient bondings
Am a monster no longer a man
I crave the blood that sustanes me
It's binding me where I am
Its lustful lady calls me
By it I know I am damned
Blood red eyes once Blue
Golden blonde hair once light too
A sun beam in a world of night
My feelings for her are true
She makes me smile
When my master can not
And durring the day
My dreams she haunts

The Soul of the Paladin cries tonight
By the River Eyks on the Isle of Night
And the lady of the sky
Is captured by the light
That keeps her entranced without a fight
The Soul of the Paladin cries tonight
By the River Eyks, for loves lost flight
Once so beautiful, now moulded with rot
She sleeps forever on the Isle of Night
Her eyes never again to see the light
The Soul of the Paladin cries for the last time
By the River Eyks as it brightly shines
His love lost forever, now she lays ever asleep
And he goes to lay beside her for a time
Until he drifts away with rhyme
The Soul of the Paladin cries no longer tonight
By the River Eyks on the Isle of Night
He sleeps beside her in eternity
On the Banks of the river, arms entwined
Forever together on the Isle of Night
