Wow, you already are pretty much done with ch 11? o.O Awesome. I wouldn't worry too much about when you go overseas for vacation since the time it takes to release a chapter with all the edits versus translating... the actual process of scanning the whole chapter HQ, then editing everything in, including sound effects, then proofreading, could take at least two weeks per chapter. So translating two chapters each week will put you way ahead of scheduale, so I really wouldn't worry too much about it.
I'm still waiting to hear from ambientlight and thegoblinwood to see what they think of this, but if it's alright with ambientlight, I'd like to work with the two of you through e-mails in case the English might be a bit too stiff for a regular English readers since English isn't your native language. From the translation you posted earlier, everything I can see so far looks good. Just a few things here and there may need to be fixed in the sentence structure and word usage. The original traslator we had, Maiki, was from Malaysia, and so English wasn't her first language either, so we did something similar with her.
If Ambientlight already finished her revisions of the ch 10 translation, do you think you could e-mail it to me so I can scan over it all?
I'll also go ahead and translate all the sound effects unless Ambientlight wants to do that, or already has done so. I'll pop open my Japanese edition when I get home. It's been a long time since I've done soundeffects *That's about the extent of my capability when it comes to reading Japanese*, so I could use the practice again. I have no idea what German onomonopea to English is, but I do know sources for the Japanese to English.
Also, could I get your e-mail? Mine is aldrea_1@yahoo.com, and while we're at it, any IM programs you use, if any at all.
And if I ever call any of you guys what you aren't, like a he or she, please tell me. XD I really have no idea what gender anyone is at the moment.
