delivering babies is awesome.  I've been seeing about one vaginal delivery a night, and I helped in two C-sections last night.  I <3 surgery.  I <3 babies.  It's really rewarding to be with new parents when they deliver a child.  This OB/Gyn rotation is pretty awesome.

It's also a lesson in the exclusivity of specialists, for better and worse.  We'll leave that be for now.

Also, doing night shift is surprisingly easy.  I haven't needed as much sleep because it's so sunny when I wake up and fall asleep.   Or maybe it's cause I'm actually doing stuff during my "day" instead of sitting still to study.

Does suck to be on opposite schedule as
inevitability, though.  We passed each other in our cars the other morning, me coming home from work and him going out.  We waved and shouted out the window.  It was funny.  And sad.
