I am decidedly right-brained.  So much so that I couldn't make her switch.  Although if I look at her feet, I get to switch to left-brained, which is what I SHOULD be, based on my career choice and how I think I think.

LEFT BRAIN FUNCTIONS  
uses logic                       <- uh yeah, medical student
detail oriented
facts rule                          <- uh yeah, medical student
words and language    <- always picked up language quickly

math and science         <- medical student.  see also: science nerd and child pianist
can comprehend
knowing                           <- I AM ALL KNOWING!  Except about the kidney.

order/pattern perception  <- see also medical student.

reality based                   <- I've always considered myself a realistic optimist.

safe

RIGHT BRAIN FUNCTIONS
uses feeling                          <- well I am a girl, and i usually say "I feel" not "I think"
"big picture" oriented
imagination rules
symbols and images         <- um, I use a lot of shorthand in my class notes? 
present and future             <- that's pretty much where my head is all the time.  Did I mention I have memory loss?
philosophy & religion         <- I grew up catholic? Actually, I've never explored philosophy as much as I want, but I find it fascinating
can "get it" (i.e. meaning) <- I always like to have people explain their subtext to me because I hate guessing at it.

appreciates
spatial perception               <- SO not me.  I always do poorly on 3D puzzles.  Circle goes where?
