So, Neal Shine's funeral was today.
It was nice as far as funerals go. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard at a funeral. I seriously love my family(which I met a lot of my distant family for the first time today). They're all so crazy.
I also realized that my family(and perhaps the Irish in general) have a very small gene pool. We all look the same. Eight or nine of my second cousins all had the Conlon nose(my nose). And the Shines look a lot like the Conlons in general.
I also got to hear some stories about my relatives. It was nice seeing them all together. I don't think I've ever seen so many Irish people in one place before.
