Internet = Dead
Lovely surprise when I got home last night, my Eithernet card had kicked the bucket. Or, that is what comcast seems to think after they tried to help me restore my connection. I will have to call Gateway tonight when I get home, as well as dig out the paperwork, I am pretty sure I bought the extended warrenty plan, and it should be less than three years old....I hopes. If not, getting a new card shouldn't be a big deal, and Best Buy installs. It will just have to wait until after Port Con Maine.
But, wow, it never hits you how much your life is online until you can't get on anymore. For the most part I am super busy getting things ready for PortCon Maine. So it's not like I don't have a million things to do, that I can do off line. But not being able to check my e-mail, kills. Thankfully I can get online at work, I am just limited in what I can do and access. *sniffs* No Yaoi Daily for me.
As for getting ready, Gaz and Wig came over Sunday night and we finished restocking the buttons. I have to print more sheets for those we sold out of, but that won't take me that long tonight. Betty has been busy making patches, and I hope I sell out at the con. I only can make so many, but they didn't do so well at Anime Next. But Port Con is different, plus I am in the dealer's room this year. Heres to hoping that it will equal more sales, even though there are less hours.
I also have plans to see an old high school friend, one of the few I still talk too, we are going to go out for diner. ^_^
