Lies...all of them.
I just realized something, some people have an ease at getting up on stage because they are capable of leting go of some alterego-esque deal. In some cases, they're lieing to themselves to force a different stance and different outlook on life.
This one particular person, whom lies like there is no tomorrow, I've realized is like this. Much because he is incapable of holding a real, down to earth conversation with anyone without lieing in it.
This person has SPENT so much of their life lieing to himself and those around him that he has NO problem getting up on stage, no issues with stage frieght because has lies SO deeply rooted in his being that he is someone completely else on stage.
But, I bet if we were to strip that person down to the bare nothingness we would find nothing more than a pathetic, sad, deprived, and lonely human being. Actually, it sort of makes me sad to think about how lonely an existence a life would be to lead such as this.
Ugh. I'll take my stage freight, I'll take my second best performance to living a life of lies and untruths.
Maybe when this person has no job and is stuck forever working at a music store for the rest of their lives will learn.
